Historic Automobile Manufacturer, recently purchased from bankruptcy
The new owner, C.W. Gamble, writes a US Navy Department purchaser regarding
special government pricing for purchase of Ambulance trucks, explaining
that honoring a price quote from the previous owners could not be honored
for it would "very serious trouble would arise" if they pursued govt contracts
which were already sewn up by the established major automakers already.
Signed and dated by Gamble, Dec. 4th, 1926 during their scramble to salvage
themselves as an automobile manufacturer.
